Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.

Everything in one place, including regulation, read more withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus read more terms, is at TradeTheDay.
